Veiko Valencia was born in Peru and lives in Boise, Idaho, since 2007. He studied art at a traditional Art School, Carlos Baca Flor, in Arequipa, Peru. Later, Valencia obtained his BFA in Painting and Drawing and his MFA in Visual Arts from Boise State University. He has participated in different juried shows in the US and Peru. Valencia currently works as an Adjunct Professor at Boise State University, teaching introduction to painting and Human Figure Drawing.
